Mr. Shum founded Onpress 9 years ago and expanded this recruitment and pharmaceutical services business from a one-man band to 15 staff with 3 offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.  He is a master’ s graduate in biochemistry and MBA from Sydney Australia, has worked for many well known multinational companies in senior management roles, and is a popular speaker and writer on China, recruitment and pharmaceutical issues in international forums.  He has recruited many senior managers and technical specialists across many industries in China and Asia.

It is with great anxiety, and expectations, that we are launching the Foundation Edition and First Issue of the Onpress Newsletter!

With the Onpress Newsletter, we hope to create a periodic forum for the exchange of views between the professionals i.e. the readers and ourselves in the field of recruitment and HR activities.

Onpress Newsletter will be transmitted via the e-mail system

The Onpress Newsletter is an important undertaking for us; it signifies a commitment by all of us at Onpress to strive for a better understanding and an upgrade of the professionalism in the field of recruitment and HR activities.  It will consume a considerable proportion of our limited resources.  We do, however, strongly believe that this is going to be a worthwhile exercise, and in the end we will all benefit from its existence!

Please be reminded that this Newsletter belongs to all of us who read it regularly.  That is, it is common property!  And it will turn out exactly how much each of us will be prepared to put into it!

A Chinese proverb says:
